These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Local Web Builders website at www.localwebbuilders.io and any services we provide to you. By using our site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Who we are

Local Web Builders is a website design and development agency serving local businesses across the United States. We're based at Columbus, OH.

Our services

We build, host, and maintain custom websites for local businesses. Specific services, deliverables, timelines, and pricing are agreed individually with each client and confirmed in writing — by proposal, email, or signed service agreement — before work begins.

Use of the website

You may use our website to evaluate or engage our services. You may not:

  • Scrape, copy, or republish our content without permission
  • Use automated tools to attack, overload, or interfere with the site
  • Misrepresent your identity or use the site for any illegal purpose

Intellectual property

The content, branding, and design of our website are owned by Local Web Builders or licensed to us. Work we build for clients is licensed to those clients per their individual service agreements.

Pricing and payment

Website build pricing shown on this site (e.g., “From $200 down”) reflects current packages and is subject to change. Local SEO is quoted per engagement rather than listed. Each project's final price, payment schedule, and any monthly fees are confirmed in writing before work begins.

Google Maps plan: $1 trial, then $499/month

Our Google Maps plan starts with a 7-day trial for $1. After the 7 days, it is $499 per month. We charge the card you used for the trial, once a month, until you cancel.

  • No contract. You can cancel anytime. If you cancel before your trial ends, you will not be charged the $499.
  • To cancel, email devyn@localwebbuilders.io, call (380) 260-4870, or use the billing link in your emails from us.
  • Our 60-day money-back promise: if your Google Maps rankings do not go up within 60 days, ask us and we will give you your money back.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

SMS and email communications

If you provide your contact information, you consent to receive SMS text messages and emails from us related to your inquiry, project, or service. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of SMS at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

Disclaimers

Our website and any project deliverables are provided “as is.” We don't guarantee specific business outcomes (number of leads, search ranking, revenue) — we build sites that follow best practices, but search rankings and customer acquisition depend on factors outside our control. The one exception is the 60-day money-back promise for the Google Maps plan, described above.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Web Builders is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
